The Dojo

We have built a custom 1000-square-foot Dojo in the country, on Sensei Barry's property in Aiken, SC. Our facility was designed, from the ground up, with Jujitsu practice in mind. The Dojo mats are wall-to-wall Swain Sports Mats, which are without a doubt the best in the industry, used in the Olympics for Judo competitions. The floor was engineered with floating floor joists to accommodate even the hardest throws, to achieve optimum safety without being too bouncy for overall practice. The ceilings are over 10' high, so that there is no chance of anyone hitting the ceiling from even the highest throws and, with weapons and club defense training, no one even gets close to hitting it.

We are located approximately half way between Augusta, GA and Columbia, SC.
